GRLT's 2004 Annual Dinner was held on April 22, 2004 at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL. The keynote presentation was presented by Richard E. Sparks, Ph.D., Director of Research for the new National Great Rivers Research and Education Center (NGRREC) at Alton, Illinois. The Gladys Levis Allen Conservationist Award was presented to TheMissionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate for advancing the quality of life in our corner of the world for future generations. The award was accepted by Father Maurice Lange.
