 Boy Scout Lake Project

Signed a conservation agreement to protect the entire 253 acres of Camp Warren Levis in Godfrey. Began excavation of the Boy Scout Lake in November with a targeted completion date of Spring 2004

 Acquired 40 acres of viewshed property in Fern Glenn Valley at Chautauqua as part of a conservation buyer program.
 Acquired 68 acres of land adjacent to the LaVista Park in Godfrey.
 Acquired 40 acres of riparian buffer property as part of the Piasa Creek Watershed project.
 Assisted the Village of Brussels in the development of a community park and an OSLAD grant to fund the project.
 Initiated a Public Awareness Campaign to provide area residents with a better understanding of Great Rivers’ mission, accomplishments and goals.
